John Harwood

John Harwood is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in technical services management and IT operations. Since June 2019, John has served as the Technical Services Manager for Cobb County Government, overseeing the data center. Prior to this role, John was an IT Operations Supervisor at Home Depot and held the position of IT Operations Manager at MISTRAS Group, Inc., where responsibilities included integrating acquisitions into IT infrastructure and developing IT policies compliant with Sarbanes-Oxley. Earlier experience includes consulting in IT services at PHH and serving as an Information Technology Specialist at Acadia Mortgage Co. John holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technologies from the University of Maine and an Associate's degree in the same field from Northern Maine Technical College.
