Sam Tabib

Sam Tabib has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Sam began their career in 2008 as a Test Engineer at Cummins Inc., where they performed tests and analyses on automotive components. In 2011, they joined Deloitte UK as an Associate, eventually progressing to the role of Audit Manager. Sam'sresponsibilities included managing a portfolio of audit and assurance clients, specializing in various sectors such as manufacturing, life sciences, institutional investors, travel and leisure, and technology.

In 2017, Sam transitioned to Cobham Mission Systems as the Head of Financial Accounting for the UK Mission Systems division. In this role, they led the financial accounting team and implemented effective processes while ensuring robust controls to safeguard business assets.

Before joining Deloitte, Sam was an Assistant Manager at Deloitte UK, where they acted as a bridge between senior managers and junior staff in external audit and assurance engagements. Sam also served as a Senior Associate during their time at Deloitte.

Sam'smost recent position, which they held since 2019, was at Cobham, where they served as the Head of Corporate Accounting. In this role, they managed accounting and controlling functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements, including tax and treasury. Sam was also responsible for overseeing statutory audits, managing tax audits, and handling VAT visits and inspections.

Sam Tabib earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath from 2006 to 2010.
