Andrew Thompson is an experienced professional with a background in technical support and leadership in diversity initiatives. Currently serving as the BIPOC Employee Resource Group Pillar Lead at COCC since May 2018, Andrew focuses on fostering networking and professional development opportunities for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. In addition, Andrew has held various technical support roles at COCC, from Technical Support Specialist I to II, where responsibilities included troubleshooting software and facilitating training. Previously, Andrew provided help desk support and systems analysis at Community Health Services, Inc. and has experience in sales and customer service from roles at Wireless Zone and Staples. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Networking Technology from Central Connecticut State University.
