Vagira Abeysinghe

Vagira Abeysinghe is a seasoned telecommunications and networking professional with extensive experience in solution architecture and network engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Solution Architect at Cochlear since May 2021, Vagira has previously held the position of Infrastructure Architect at Foxtel from October 2016 to May 2021. Prior roles include Level 7 Security Engineer at Dimension Data and multiple senior network engineering positions at Foxtel and TeleTech, where design and implementation of converged networks were key responsibilities. Vagira's early career also includes network engineering roles at the Catholic Education Office and Computer Maintenance Australia. Vagira holds an MBA from the University of Sydney, a Diploma in Marketing from CIM, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
