Derrick Hazel is a seasoned professional in customer success management with significant experience in leading teams across various technology companies. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Customer Success at Cockroach Labs since May 2021, Derrick contributes to the advancement of CockroachDB, a cutting-edge cloud-native, distributed SQL database. Previous roles include Senior Director of Customer Success at Nomis Solutions and Director of Customer Success at Pythian, along with leadership positions at Capgemini, Manta Consulting, Dell, and HP. Derrick holds a degree from Technical University of Nova Scotia and completed education at Atlantic Computer Institute.
