Ed O’Malley

Ed is the President of CODA Markets, Inc., and manages day-to-day activities including operations, regulation, and financial areas of the firm. Prior thereto, Ed worked at Allston Trading, where he was the liaison between the firm and all external market centers on connectivity and trading relating issues.

In his previous position as SVP at the National Stock Exchange, Ed oversaw the Business Development area and all related client service issues, in addition to Trading Operations and Support, while representing the Exchange on numerous industry committees and working groups. Ed started his career with the CBOE where he worked on the trading floor, focused on automating the execution of customer orders. Ed is a member of the Chicago Securities Traders Association and holds Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.

Mr. O’Malley graduated from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota, and received his MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
