Guillermo Aguilar

Guillermo Aguilar is a Cloud Application Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) since January 2023, focusing on architecting and building cloud-native applications for customers. In addition, Guillermo serves as a Pre-work Instructor at Code Platoon, managing technical assessments and collaborating on curriculum development for an immersive software engineering bootcamp since March 2022. Previous experience includes a role as a Development Services Engineer at DRW from February to November 2022, where responsibilities involved building, testing, and monitoring internal software. From August 2019 to January 2021, Guillermo worked as an Instructional Coach at Pflugerville ISD, enhancing teaching practices and improving student outcomes. Additionally, Guillermo spent three years teaching high school subjects at the American School Foundation of Monterrey. Academically, Guillermo holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Augustana College and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas State University.
