Steven Kanzler

Steven Kanzler is an accomplished Autonomous Racing Engineer at Code19 Racing since March 2024, with extensive experience in automated driving and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). As a Manager for Automated Driving and ADAS Functions at ZF Group since November 2017, Steven leads multidisciplinary teams focused on L2+ AD functions and 360-degree radar perception. Prior experience at Continental included roles as Team Lead for Radar Algorithm and Algorithm Project Manager, where Steven managed teams to develop radar-based ADAS features and validate algorithms for series production. Steven started their career with the Bundeswehr, serving as a Platoon Leader and Squad Leader in the German Airforce, following education in Applied Physics and Computer Sciences from the University of Applied Sciences Merseburg and officer training at the German Airforce Officers School.
