Nia Legrand

Nia Legrand is an ambitious undergraduate student at Spelman College, actively engaged in enriching educational and professional experiences. As a CodeHouse Scholar, Nia was selected among 29 students for a rigorous computer science program, enhancing leadership capabilities through workshops and personalized mentorship from industry leaders at companies like PayPal, Google, and Microsoft. Nia completed internships at the Defense Intelligence Agency and PayPal, where skills in programming and data analysis were applied to improve customer retention through innovative solutions. Additionally, experience with Accenture involved developing an application and website prototype aimed at supporting small businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
