Perumal Rengasamy

Perumal Rengasamy has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and software testing. Perumal is currently working as a Senior QA Engineer at Codeless Technology B.V. since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Intigral as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist starting from August 2021.

From April 2019 to August 2021, Perumal worked at Etisalat as a Software Tester, where they held the role of Senior Automation QA Lead in a UAT team. Perumal has significant experience in automation testing using Cypress with JavaScript and has created a Page Object Model framework. Additionally, they have expertise in automating mobile apps, including the DHA COVID 19 mobile app using Appium for both iOS and Android.

Before joining Etisalat, Perumal worked at Virtusa as an Associate Consultant from August 2014 to February 2019. In this role, they served as an automation test engineer for the PayPal client. Perumal utilized Selenium WebDriver with Jenkins for continuous integration and had experience working in an Agile environment using Rally and Jira for task and defect tracking.

Perumal's career in software testing began at Aparajitha Corporate Services Private Limited, where they worked as a Software Tester from August 2012 to July 2014.

Perumal Rengasamy completed their Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Prince Shri Venkateshwara Padmavathy Engineering College. Perumal attended this college between 2007 and 2011. Earlier, from 2001 to 2007, they completed their high school education in Computer Science at Zion Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in September 2015.
