Olli Kontu

Olli Kontu has a solid work experience in the field of software engineering. Olli started their career at CrossControl in 2007, where they worked as a Software Engineer until 2010. Olli then joined Softability Oy as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2013. After that, Olli joined Metso and held various roles. Olli started as a Development Engineer in 2013 and eventually became the Chief Engineer, leading the Embedded & PC software team. During their time at Metso, Olli was responsible for software architecture, design, development, review, testing, and releasing for production. Olli also managed the embedded and Windows software development team and served as a Scrum master. Olli worked on embedded software development for different ARM processors and was experienced in Python development for PC interface tool, test environment libraries, and production scripts. In 2021, Olli joined Codento Oy as a Software Architect.

Olli Kontu earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tampere University of Technology from 2001 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera, including "Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning," "Sequences, Time Series and Prediction," "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Deep Learning Specialization," "Sequence Models," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Machine Learning." The certifications were obtained between 2018 and 2020.
