Sam Staley has a long and varied career in business development and technology consulting. Sam began their career in 2002 as a Vice President of Investments at UBS Financial Services, where they assisted individuals in planning for upcoming financial milestones and worked with institutional organizations to insure the highest return on invested assets. In 2004, they founded WidespreadAccess where they managed metropolitan scale data infrastructure build-out and hosted IP/PBX businesses. In 2006, they became the Director of Application Development at Hobcaw Studios, overseeing and managing all application development projects. In 2008, they took on the role of Executive Division Director at avVenta Worldwide, where they oversaw and managed new client work and client on-boarding. In 2012, they founded Whitemark Media and in 2013, they became a Consultant at The Protection Institute. In 2014, they founded Event.Gives, a software company that offers mobile text bidding, out bid notification, remote bidding for non-attendees, printable signs, digital signage, printable tax forms, and a robust dashboard allowing event organizers to enter manual bids and monitor progress. Finally, in 2018, they founded CODE/+/TRUST, a leader of multiple start-up software teams.
Sam Staley obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The Citadel in 1997, having started their studies in 1993.
