Faneng Sun

Faneng Sun possesses extensive experience in biotherapeutics development and process optimization, currently serving as Director of BioTherapeutics Development / CMC at Codexis, Inc. since February 2022. Prior to this role, Faneng held multiple senior positions, including Senior Director of Cell Line & Upstream Process Development at TrueBinding from January 2020 to February 2022, and Senior Director at QLB Biotherapeutics from January 2018 to December 2019. Additional experience includes roles at LakePharma, BioVision, and the Parkinson's Institute and Clinical Center, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine. Faneng Sun holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Iowa State University and a Master’s degree in Pharmacology from China Pharmaceutical University.
