James Riggins

James Riggins is a highly experienced Principal Scientist at Codexis, Inc., with a career spanning from January 2007 to the present, including previous roles as Senior Manager of Analytical and Scientist III. Riggins began professional work at Biocatalytics, Inc., which was later acquired by Codexis. Prior to this, Riggins served as a Research Fellow at Huntington Medical Research Institute from November 2004 to December 2006, focusing on advanced LC/MS/MS techniques to analyze protein changes in patients with liver cancer. Riggins also completed a Post Doctoral Research Assistant position at Vanderbilt University from December 2003 to November 2004, specializing in proteomics and mass spectrometry under the guidance of Dan Liebler, Ph.D. Riggins holds a PhD in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University (1998-2003) and a BA in Biochemistry from McDaniel College (1994-1998).
