Hernán Esteves Rosano

Hernán Esteves Rosano has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Hernán started their career as a Full-stack Developer at IDATHA, specializing in Big Data, AI, and data analytics. During their time there from July 2016 to April 2019, they worked on various projects using technologies such as Python, Django, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Celery, RabbitMQ, and Vue.

Following that, Hernán joined FinCompare - Smarter SME Financing as a Software Engineer. From May 2019 to October 2020, they focused on backend development and worked on a web-based product that connects SMEs with financial institutions. Their responsibilities included estimation, feature planning, and following agile methodologies.

In 2020, Hernán moved to Enpal GmbH, where they held multiple roles. As a Software Engineer from October 2020 to May 2021, they worked on different cross-over projects and took part in building projects from scratch in the green energy field. Using technologies like NestJS, GraphQL, MongoDB, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps, they implemented modern Microservices patterns and contributed to a growing Microservices architecture.

At Enpal GmbH, Hernán was later promoted to a Senior Software Engineer role, starting in May 2021 and ending in January 2022. In addition to their technical responsibilities, they acted as a technical lead, supporting the Marketing and Sales tech team. Hernán played a key role in implementing various Microservices patterns and contributed to the company's technological growth.

Currently, Hernán is working at Codility as a Senior Software Engineer II starting in February 2022. Codility is a software platform trusted by industry giants like Microsoft, Spotify, and Tesla for efficient recruitment and training of engineering talent. Hernán is involved in developing and maintaining internal services and APIs for content creators, utilizing their expertise in architectural patterns, Python, Django, FastAPI, AWS services, and GitLab pipelines.

Throughout their career, Hernán has demonstrated adaptability, proactiveness, leadership skills, and a strong focus on high-quality and efficient software development.

Hernán Esteves Rosano completed their education at the Universidad de la República. From 2012 to 2017, they pursued a degree in Computer Engineering, specializing in Computer Science. In addition, from 2012 to 2014, they obtained a degree in Computer Analysis with a focus on Computer Science.

Hernán Esteves Rosano also acquired additional certifications. In December 2018, they obtained the Verified International Academic Qualifications certification from the World Education Services. Furthermore, in December 2011, they obtained the First Certificate In English - (CEFR Level C1) from Cambridge Assessment English.
