Danielle Fairbrass has extensive work experience in the field of cell biology and microscopy. They have recently worked as a Senior Scientist in Cell Biology at coding.bio since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Oxford Biomedica from 2018 to 2023, starting as a Scientist and later becoming a Senior Scientist. At Oxford Biomedica, their role involved activities within the Cellular Engineering Group and conducting research activities. Before joining Oxford Biomedica, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institut de Genetique et Developpement du Rennes from 2016 to 2018, focusing on high-temporal resolution microscopy and statistical analysis. They also have experience as an Industrial CASE PhD Student at the University of Sheffield and Fujifilm Diosynth from 2012 to 2016.

Danielle Fairbrass pursued their education at The University of Sheffield, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry from 2008 to 2011. Danielle furthered their studies at the same institution and completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biological and Bioprocess Engineering from 2011 to 2012.
