Andrei Zholud has worked in a variety of roles in the data science field since 2007. From 2007 to 2009, they were an Engineer at the Technique and Spectroscopy of Semiconductors Laboratory. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Research Scientist at the Heat and Mass Transfer Institute, National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. From 2013 to 2019, they were a Research Specialist Lead and Research Assistant at Emory University, where they showed significance of quantum fluctuations to electronic and magnetic properties of nanostructures at finite temperature, achieved enchanted efficiency of spin hall nanooscillator by patterning spin injecting layer, and in collaboration with Nonlinear Magnetics Dymanics Group of Munster University (Germany) showed synchronization of spin hall nanooscillators to external signal. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Data Scientist in Training at Thinkful. From 2020 to 2021, they were a Data Scientist at Verizon and Grid Dynamics. Currently, they are a Senior Data Scientist at Codoxo.
Andrei Zholud began their educational journey in 2004 when they earned a Master of Science (MS) in Physics from Belarusian State University. Andrei then attended Emory University from 2011 to 2017 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Experimental Physics. In 2018, they obtained a certification in OpenCV for Python Developers from Lynda.com. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Learning VBA in Excel from LinkedIn and also began studying Data Science at Thinkful.
