Charlotte Lynds has over 30 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Charlotte began their career in 1988 as an LPN at Boca Medical Group. In 1998, they joined UnitedHealth Group as a Medical Expense Management Specialist, where they remained for seven years. During this time, they worked as a Utilization Reviewer and Claim Reviewer using Patterns software. Charlotte then moved to Healthcare Comprehensive Solutions as the Director of Audit Operations in 2005, where they managed a small audit and technical staff and provided client support and provider education on the audit process and results. In 2007, they joined Xerox Services as a Senior Professional Fraud & Abuse Analyst, where they identified and presented $30 million in improper payments which spawned multiple cases of fraud that were prosecuted at the federal or state level. In 2010, they joined UnitedHealth Group again as a Clinical Fraud Investigator, providing customer support and expertise in Optum software application and assisting clients with development of algorithms which detect fraud. In 2012, they joined Myers & Stauffer LC as a Senior Analyst, performing RAC audits for Georgia Medicaid program. In 2016, they moved to Cotiviti as a Medical Review Supervisor and Fraud Analyst, performing monthly data analysis of client's claims focused on identifying potential fraud, waste and abuse. Finally, in 2020, they became a Certified Coding Analyst at Codoxo.
Charlotte Lynds attended Northern Maine Community College from 1979 to 1980, where they earned a Diploma in Practical Nursing, Vocational Nursing and Nursing Assistants.
