Aïda Valls

Aida Valls is a distinguished academic professional currently serving as Vice Dean at Southern Catalonia (Tarragona i Terres de l'Ebre) with COEINF since April 2023, and as Secretary of the Board of Directors at ETSE URV since June 2022. Valls has held the position of Senior Lecturer and researcher at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) since September 2000, and also functions as Mobility Coordinator for Computer Science studies at ETSE, overseeing academic information for incoming international students and student mobility. Valls leads the PhD Program on Computer Science and Mathematics of Security. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (1999-2002), a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering (1996-1998), and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering (1992-1996) from Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
