Asher Elazar

Asher Elazar is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles in global organizations. Currently serving as the Global Head of Infrastructure, Applications and Asset Security at COFCO International since July 2019, Asher focuses on building security practices across multiple areas, including SOC activities. As Chief Information Security Officer, Asher leads a global team dedicated to enhancing cybersecurity through governance, technology, and processes. Previous experience includes significant positions at Microsoft, Arrow ECS, UBP, BDO Israel, and ELTA, with a strong emphasis on IT security consulting, risk assessments, and implementing security controls in complex environments. Asher holds several prestigious certifications, including CISSP and CISA, and an Executive MBA in Enterprise Risk Management from the University of Geneva.
