Willmar Jhos Cheng

Willmar Jhos Cheng began their work experience in 2019 as the President of CHIPS Club STI College Muñoz-EDSA. Willmar Jhos then served as the Vice President of the Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines - Student Edition from 2019 to 2021. Following that, Cheng worked as a Technical Support Specialist at Harte Hanks from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, they joined Trend Micro as a Cybersecurity Threat Engineer until 2023. Currently, Cheng is working at COFENSE as a Threat Analyst.

Willmar Jhos Cheng attended STI College from 2015 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Computer Hardware Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including a Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera in July 2023, a Cyber Security Threats certification from Great Learning in May 2023, and a Certified Computer Engineer certification from the Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines - Student Edition in January 2023. Furthermore, they have completed several online courses on platforms like Coursera and SoloLearn, covering topics such as Python, C, C++, React+Redux, SQL, and Chinese. Willmar Jhos also holds certifications in network security from Fortinet, including the NSE 1 Network Security Associate and NSE 2 Network Security Associate certifications, obtained in June 2020. Moreover, they have completed the HCIA Cloud Computing certification from Shenzhen Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. in December 2021.
