Sandy Hon is an experienced professional in the specialty coffee industry, currently serving in roles related to roasting and production as well as quality assurance at Parisi Coffee since June 2018, holding the title of Licensed Q Arabica Grader. Additionally, Sandy has been affiliated with the Coffee Quality Institute and has held various positions at the Specialty Coffee Association from 2004 to January 2022, including serving as an Authorized Specialized Trainer and a judge for barista competitions. Previous experience includes working as a Specialty Coffee Instructor at Firedancer Coffee Consultants, LLC, and managing coffee bar operations at Johnson County Community College.
