René van der Meijden

René van der Meijden currently serves as the Managing Director of COFRA Services at COFRA Holding AG, overseeing Global Business Services including IT, HR, Finance, Facilities, and Procurement since November 2020. Previously, René held positions at Randstad from October 2011 to October 2020, where responsibilities included executing the Global Business Services strategy as Executive VP and managing operations for the Dutch Shared Services function. Prior experience includes positions such as Managing Partner at Dispatch United, where René initiated a taxi app service, and various leadership roles at GE, focusing on global financial services and operations in the healthcare sector. René's career also includes a foundational role in a Dutch retail internet startup. Academic credentials comprise an MBA from the University of Phoenix and participation in multiple executive programs at INSEAD, alongside a BBA in Hotel Management from Hogere Hotel School.
