Alex Morrison

Alex Morrison is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the digital, media, and technology sectors. As the Founder and Managing Director of Cogapp since December 1985, Alex has also served as Chair and Director at Wired Sussex from December 2002 to December 2023, playing a crucial role in supporting the Sussex digital community. Other notable positions include Interim CEO and Chair at Art UK (Public Catalogue Foundation) from September 2011 to December 2018, Director at Noostar until December 2013, and Managing Director at Icons Online Limited from January 2005 to December 2007. Earlier career roles include consultancy at Expert Systems International and Arthur Andersen, along with programming at Mediaocean. Alex holds a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Oxford and furthered studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
