Emily Plummer

Emily Plummer has extensive work experience in scientific communications and medical writing. Emily currently serves as Director of Global Scientific Communications at Cogent Biosciences. Prior to this, they held various roles at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, including Associate Director and Senior Manager of Scientific Communications. Emily has also worked at Intercept Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Publications Manager and Senior Medical Writer. Emily has experience in developing strategic publication plans and contributing to regulatory documents. Emily's earlier experience includes positions at La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company, Amgen, Samumed LLC, and research institutions such as the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology, The Scripps Research Institute, and the University of Utah. In these roles, they focused on topics such as immunology, virology, and microscopy techniques.

Emily Plummer has a PhD in Cell Biology from Scripps Research. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Utah.
