Kevin O'Connor

Kevin O'Connor has a diverse work experience in the field of network planning and engineering. Kevin started their career in 1984 as a Network Administrator at DST Systems, where they were involved in network surveillance, management, and design. Kevin then joined Sprint Nextel in 1996 and worked as a Network Planner II and later as a Network Planner III, responsible for budgeting, designing, and planning the company's internal Operations Support System (OSS) IP network. During their time at Sprint Nextel, they became an Ericsson employee in 2009 under an outsourcing arrangement but continued to work solely with Sprint Nextel. At Ericsson Services Inc., Kevin worked as a Network Engineer III, specializing in network management, design, and documentation of Sprint's fiber transport equipment and switches. Most recently, they joined T-Mobile in 2020 as a Network Planner III. Currently, Kevin is working as a Principal Engineer at Cogent Communications.

Kevin O'Connor attended St. Louis Community College from 1983 to 1984, where they studied Computer Systems. Prior to that, they attended Metropolitan Community College-Business & Technology from 1981 to 1982, focusing on Architecture. Kevin completed their high school education at Grandview High School from 1977 to 1980.
