Meghan Leahy

Meghan Leahy currently serves as Regional Vice President at Cogentrix Energy, LLC since October 2022. Prior to this role, Meghan held various positions at NextEra Energy Resources from October 2015 to October 2022, including Senior Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs and Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs. Meghan's experience also includes serving as Manager of Government Affairs at Entergy from August 2013 to October 2015 and State Director and Policy Advisor in the United States Senate for Senator William "Mo" Cowan and Senator John F. Kerry from July 2007 to July 2013. Before these positions, Meghan worked as an Associate at Dutko Worldwide from June 2005 to June 2007. Meghan obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Suffolk University Law School in 2013 and holds a degree from Georgetown University, completed in 2005.
