David Miano

David Miano is an experienced educator and acquisitions editor with a diverse background in academic instruction and administration. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at the State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota since August 2016, Miano has also held the position of Specialist Acquisitions Editor at Cognella since June 2012 and Executive Director at Schola Antiquorum since September 2010. Prior experience includes roles as a Lecturer at UC San Diego from January 2007 to December 2015, and Adjunct Instructor positions at San Diego Mesa College and the University of San Diego. Miano holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in History from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Classical and Ancient Studies from the University at Buffalo.
