Jessie Hsu

Jessie Hsu has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. From 2001 to 2002, they worked as a Student - Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, where they developed illumination normalization algorithms for face recognition software modules. In 2008, they worked as an R&D Intern at GE Global Research. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Researcher at Industrial Technology Research Institute. In 2013, they joined Cognex Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer and later became the Principal Software Engineer in 2017. They have a strong background in software development and research.

Jessie Hsu has a strong background in Electrical Engineering. Jessie completed their PhD in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University from 2003 to 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University from 2001 to 2002. Jessie also completed their first MS in Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University from 1999 to 2001, and their BS in Electrical Engineering, also from National Taiwan University, from 1995 to 1999.
