Martijn Visser has extensive work experience in the mechanical engineering field. Martijn started their career in 2005 as a Stock Clerk at Plus Schulpen and later worked as a Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineering Intern at Ansil. During their time at Ansil, they gained experience in designing transportable meeting/work rooms and applied principles such as FEM, friction calculations, and design for manufacturing. In 2012, they joined Segula Technologies Nederland BV as a Design Engineer Mechanics. There, they worked on various projects for clients such as ASML and Oc\u00e9 Technologies, focusing on precision component design and prototype printheads. In 2014, Martijn joined ASML as a Mechanical Design Engineer and subsequently became the Lead Mechanical Engineer for the LSPH component in the EC&I DUV department. Martijn was responsible for defining mechanical requirements and leading a small team. In 2018, Martijn started working for Cognex Corporation as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Principal Mechanical Engineer in February 2022.
Martijn Visser attended Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, they have obtained certifications in SolidWorks Flow Simulation from COFFEE GmbH - Ein Unternehmen der Bechtle Gruppe in 2020, PSE certification in FEA, Dynamics and Vibrations from NAFEMS in 2017, and MMA Welding from Arcus - Sint-Jansberg in 2009.
