William McCarthy

William McCarthy is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and solution support, primarily within the machine vision and deep learning sectors focused on Electric Vehicle applications. Since joining Cognex Corporation in May 2010, William has progressively taken on roles of increasing responsibility, currently serving as the Solutions and Support Manager for Electric Vehicles. Prior positions at Cognex have included Solutions & Support Lead and Advanced Customer Engineering Manager, where William led teams in providing technical assistance, developing scalable solutions, and supporting logistics-based applications. Prior to Cognex, William held key positions at Software Wrench Inc. and Timberline Automation LLC, specializing in custom software development and machine vision systems. William holds a Master’s degree in Data Analytics from Southern New Hampshire University and multiple degrees from Michigan Technological University, including a Bachelor of Science and an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.
