Randal Koene is an accomplished expert in computational neuroscience and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Founder and Chair of the Carboncopies Brain Research Foundation, an organization focused on advancing research and development in neural prosthetics and brain emulation. Since May 2017, Randal has grown the foundation significantly and remains active in various roles, including Organoid Data Acquisition and Science Consulting at Cognigenics, Scientific Advisor at General Vision, Inc., and the BRAIN PRESERVATION FOUNDATION. Randal has contributed to precision software development at Voxa Co, led tech initiatives at neurobotx LTD, and provided educational support through Neuromatch Academy. Randal's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from McGill University and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
