Ulas Cakmak

Ulas Cakmak has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ulas started their career as a Consultant in Supply Chain Solutions at Agility Logistics in April 2007. After that, they worked as a Senior Manager in Supply Chain Solutions from April 2009 to May 2010. Ulas then became a Principal in Supply Chain Solutions from May 2010 to February 2011.

In February 2011, Ulas joined Predictix as a Senior Scientist and worked there until July 2016. During this time, they gained significant experience in the field of science and research.

After leaving Predictix, Ulas joined Infor in July 2016 as a Director in Optimization Science. Ulas held this role until December 2017, after which they were promoted to Senior Director in Optimization Science. Ulas worked in this position until August 2022.

Currently, Ulas Cakmak is working at Cognira as a Principal Scientist starting from January 2023.

Ulas Cakmak completed their B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Middle East Technical University in 2000. Ulas then pursued further education and obtained an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University in 2002. Continuing their academic journey, they earned a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012.
