Alexander Hultin has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Alexander currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Cognisess, where they lead the development of a global SaaS platform for Human Resources analytics. Alexander has successfully implemented a purposeful Systems Architecture and optimized the company's cloud infrastructure, resulting in significant cost savings.
Prior to this, Alexander was the Head of Data Science at Cognisess, where they led a team responsible for developing new intellectual property. Alexander restructured and upskilled the team to deliver Natural Language Processing (NLP) models and analyses. Alexander also developed a scalable and transparent Skills Matching technology that is a core part of the company's offering.
Before working at Cognisess, Alexander was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Bath, where they applied Graph Theory and Natural Language Processing to identify transdisciplinary skills and collaborated with leaders in the Engineering Sector.
Alexander also worked as a Lead Data Scientist at EconAware LTD, a FinTech start-up, where they provided technical leadership and utilized Behavioral Finance and Neuroeconomics to determine risk profiles. Alexander created, validated, and deployed sensor-based Machine Learning models to capture emotional excitement.
During their time at the University of Bath, Alexander worked as a Doctoral Candidate on a project that aimed to identify future leaders in Interdisciplinary Research (IDR). This project provided a framework for optimizing grant investment.
Additionally, Alexander worked at Rolls-Royce as a Research Engineer, leading a project to reduce design rework on fuel injection systems. Alexander applied Graph Theory to identify bottlenecks in the design process.
Alexander also gained experience as a Diesel Calibration Engineer at Ford Motor Company and as an Undergraduate Engineer at AgustaWestland.
Alexander Hultin pursued their education in the field of engineering. From 2007 to 2011, they attended the University of Bristol and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree with a specialization in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. Building upon their undergraduate studies, they then enrolled at the University of Bath in 2015 and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2018.
