Bjarte Håtveit

Bjarte Håtveit has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Bjarte started their career as a Researcher at SINTEF in 1992 and later moved on to Scandpower AS, where they held various roles including Consultant Multiphase Technology and Section Manager Multiphase Services. Bjarte then joined Scandpower Petroleum Technology as an Executive Vice President for Integrated Simulations and later became the Senior Vice President for Business Development. In 2008, they joined SPT Group as the Executive Vice President of the OLGA Business Unit and later became the Senior Vice President of Flow Simulations Software Development. Bjarte continued their career at Schlumberger Integrated Solutions as the SPT Technology Center Manager and then joined Schlumberger Software Technology as the Flow Assurance Engineering Manager. Currently, they are working at Cognite as the VP Customer Success and has recently taken on the role of VP, Engineering Delivery Manager for Saudi Aramco & CNTXT.

Bjarte Håtveit's education history includes pursuing an Executive Master of Management degree from BI Norwegian Business School from 2008 to 2018. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1992, they attended RWTH Aachen University and obtained an Exchange diploma from NTNU/RWTH in Mechanical Engineering - Thermodynamics. Furthermore, from 1987 to 1992, Håtveit studied at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they acquired a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
