Henry Henriques

Henry Henriques has a strong background in engineering, with their most recent position being Senior Director of Engineering at Cognite since August 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Engineering at Cognite from January 2021 to August 2023. Henry also worked as the Lead Software Engineer at Cognite from August 2019 to December 2020.

Before joining Cognite, Henry worked at OutSystems as a Software Engineer from October 2014 to July 2019. In this role, they were a member of the R&D's AppBackend team, where they focused on core product development of features related to the backend of the OutSystems applications. Henry was involved in developing service applications and service actions to enable low-code Microservice architectures using OutSystems 11. Henry also contributed to improving the platform's dependency management system, allowing faster application delivery for OutSystems clients.

Henry's earlier work experience includes a role as a Public Relations Specialist at Alfra Constructions from April 2009 to January 2011. In this role, they served as a liaison between the home office and the Venezuelan government, specifically in charge of the construction of social housing. Henry'sresponsibilities included direct communication with government officials, negotiating timelines, and managing requirements for the construction projects.

Henry Henriques completed their education in computer engineering at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Henry obtained a Bachelor's degree from 2011 to 2014, followed by a Master's degree from 2014 to 2016.
