Iulia Maes

Iulia Maes has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Iulia is currently working as a Senior Sales Executive Southern Europe - Power & Renewables at Cognite since June 2023. Prior to this, they served as an Account Director Operations BU at AVEVA from April 2022 to May 2023. In this role, they focused on driving the sales process, upselling, and cross-selling software solutions for a wide Aveva Operations portfolio. Before joining AVEVA, Iulia worked as a Sales Executive at OSIsoft (now part of AVEVA) from September 2021 to April 2022. Earlier in their career, they held various positions at Arundo Analytics, Open Ocean, and ACE OCTG, where they gained experience in sales, account management, and business development within the industrial analytics, offshore energy, and oil and gas drilling equipment sectors.

Iulia Maes completed their Master of Science - MS degree in International Trade from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne from 2005 to 2007. Iulia then pursued further education at OMNES Education from 2007 to 2008, where they obtained a Master's degree in Marketing, Communication, and Commercial Strategies. In 2015, they studied Swedish language at the Swedish Institute in Paris. In the same year, they also enrolled in the British Council in Paris to study Business English at an advanced level. It is not specified when their study at the British Council ended.
