Kristian Gjestad Vangsnes

Kristian Gjestad Vangsnes began their work experience in 2014 as a Butikkmedarbeider at KIWI minipris, where they worked until June 2018. In September 2021, they joined Cognite as a Data Scientist and later advanced to the role of Data Scientist II in January 2023.

Kristian Gjestad Vangsnes has a strong educational background in the field of physics. Kristian obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Bergen (UiB) in 2018, followed by a one-year study in Mathematics and Physics at the same university in 2018-2019. Kristian then pursued a Master's degree in Theoretical Physics at The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences from 2019 to 2021.

In addition to their academic achievements, Kristian has also obtained a certification as a Machine Learning Scientist with Python Track from DataCamp in November 2021.
