Peet Cremer

Peet Cremer has a strong background in engineering and machine learning, with experience in both managerial and technical roles. Currently working at Cognite as the Director of Engineering, Peet leads a team of 8 Engineers focused on information retrieval systems for industrial data. This role involves people management, as well as providing technology and product insights and strategic leadership.

Peet was responsible for SCRUM Product Ownership of a data warehouse solution, as well as the setup of a microservice solution for automating AI workflows. Peet also played a role in integrating and deploying machine learning models into production on automotive target hardware and refining data from automotive sensors for neural network training.

Peet Cremer completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at the University of Düsseldorf from 2008 to 2012. Following this, from 2012 to 2013, Cremer pursued a Master of Science degree in Physics at the same university. Finally, Cremer obtained a Doktor (Ph.D.) degree in Physics from the University of Düsseldorf between 2013 and 2017.
