Ragnhild Helene Byrkjeland

Ragnhild Helene Byrkjeland has a diverse work experience in the design and technology industry. Ragnhild Helene currently holds the position of Principal Designer at Cognite since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Blank AS as a Designer from February 2019 to November 2021. Ragnhild Helene also worked as a Service Designer at Sopra Steria from May 2018 to January 2019. Ragnhild was a Co-Founder and Product Owner at Rendra AS - a part of the JDM Technology Group from January 2012 to April 2018, where they led the development of Rendra's solutions using scrum. Ragnhild Helene also worked as a Designer at Eyasys from January 2012 to June 2013. In 2010, Ragnhild co-founded Designhjelpen, an organization aimed at linking students with companies through consultancy work, and worked as a Leader at Leonardo from May 2010 to May 2011. Additionally, they gained experience as a Hotel Manager at Singsaker Sommerhotell from January 2010 to September 2010, where their responsibilities included marketing, recruitment, HR, and economy.

Ragnhild Helene Byrkjeland's education history begins in 2003 when they obtained a Training Instructor degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Friskis&Svettis. In 2004, they completed their Allmenfag degree at Ski Videregående Skole. Continuing their education, Byrkjeland attended Oslo and Akershus University College from 2006 to 2007, specializing in Art and Design. Ragnhild Helene then pursued Product Design at The Glasgow School of Art from 2007 to 2008. Between 2008 and 2011, they enrolled in the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Design Engineering. In 2012, Byrkjeland participated in the Norwegian Entrepreneurship Program offered by the Questrom School of Business at Boston University's School of Management. Finally, from 2011 to 2013, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Entrepreneurship at the NTNU School of Entrepreneurship, focusing on the critical factors of collaboration between SMEs and NGOs in alliance structures.
