Katie Harvey

Katie Harvey is a skilled medical illustrator and animator currently working at Cognition since August 2022, having previously held the position of Assistant Creative Director at Communication Partners Group LLC from June 2021 to August 2022. Katie's academic background includes a Master of Science in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester. While at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Katie served as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Saxena Lab, contributing to research on the neurobiology of the zebrafish olfactory epithelium, and as an Anatomy Tutor and Peer Educator, facilitating anatomy review sessions. Katie also brings experience as a Research Laboratory Manager and Technician at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where responsibilities included managing laboratory operations and conducting assays related to neurobehavioral disorders and neurotoxicity research.
