Philip Johnson

Philip Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Philip began their career in 2006 in the military, serving as a Marine and acquiring fortitude and leadership skills. After their discharge in 2009, they worked as a Specialist at Apple, where they sold products, maintained customer relationships, and exceeded sales quotas. From 2012 to 2014, Philip worked as a 3D artist at Avataristics, primarily focusing on modeling, texturing, rigging, and animating 3D assets. Philip then joined E2i Creative Studio as a lead 3D modeler and Technical artist/programmer, responsible for overseeing intern projects and building 3D characters and props. In 2014, Philip worked as an Analyst at AustinCSI, and then as a 3D artist at DISTI in 2015. Starting in 2022, Philip joined SkillStorm as a Full Stack Engineer, leading an Agile development team and working on various technologies and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and AWS. Most recently, Philip joined CognitionDigital.io in 2023 as a Full-stack Developer.

Philip Johnson began their education at Sandalwood High School, where they obtained their high school diploma in general education in 2006. After high school, they attended the University of Central Florida from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. Following this, they pursued a career as a nurse and attended Valencia College from 2015 to 2017, gaining an ASN degree in Nursing Practice and becoming a Registered Nurse. In 2019, Philip enrolled at Florida State College at Jacksonville, where they obtained a Technical Certificate in Computer Programming Specialist from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, they acquired several certifications, including the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle in August 2022, the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Sizmek Ad Suite certification, and Amazon DSP Campaigns Certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March and April 2023 respectively. Philip also holds the BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, which they obtained in May 2022.
