Michael Yee

Michael Yee has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Michael is currently working as an Implementation Project Manager at CognitOps since February 2022. In their previous position at the New Mexico Human Services Department, Information Technology Division, they worked as an HHS 2020 Data Product Manager from June 2019 to November 2021. Prior to that, they served as an IT Project Manager from November 2016 to June 2019.

Before joining the New Mexico Human Services Department, Michael worked at Reddwerks Corporation for several years. Michael started as a Project Manager in April 2012 and was later promoted to Senior Project Manager in January 2014. Subsequently, they took on the role of Software Development Manager from April 2015 to April 2016. In these positions, they were responsible for managing software development processes, overseeing teams, and driving process improvements.

Michael also gained experience in academia. Michael worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they held a research assistant position at the university in 2009.

Furthermore, Michael had internships in the pharmaceutical industry. Michael was a Summer Intern at Centocor, Inc. in 2009 and previously worked as an Assistant Scientist at Centocor in 2008.

Michael Yee completed their education in the field of Bioengineering. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering and Materials Science Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued further education at the same university and earned a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering from 2010 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Michael Yee obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in December 2016.
