Santiago Herrero Melo

Santiago Herrero Melo is a Junior Applied Intelligence Engineer at Cognizant Netcentric since January 2022, following a role as a Junior Software Engineer at ALTEN Italia, where Santiago specialized in computer vision engineering for Bombardier Transportation Italy. Prior experience includes an internship at Lely, where Santiago developed a neural network for action detection in cows to assist during calving, as well as a research and development internship at Hidalgo's Group focused on quality control and electrical product repairs. Santiago holds a Master's degree from the Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Image Processing and Computer Vision, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, complemented by studies at Politecnico di Bari.
