Dave Atencio

Dave Atencio is a seasoned real estate professional with extensive experience in corporate real estate management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate Real Estate at Cognizant Technology Solutions since October 2015, Atencio leads facilities and real estate strategies across a global portfolio exceeding 36 million square feet, collaborating closely with executive leadership to develop long-term strategic plans. Prior to this role, Atencio was Global Director of Corporate Real Estate at The Western Union Company from May 2008 to October 2015, overseeing a substantial portfolio of over 12 million square feet in more than 50 countries and aligning real estate strategies with business objectives. Atencio also served as Director of Corporate Real Estate at Nelnet from August 1994 to May 2008, managing daily operations for over one million square feet across 33 locations. Education is from the University of Colorado Boulder.
