John Fickel

John Fickel is an accomplished Senior Program Manager with extensive leadership experience in both military and civilian sectors. Currently serving at Cognosante since April 2018, Fickel previously held similar roles at CSRA Inc and the Department of Veteran Administration. Fickel's military career includes significant positions such as Commander of the Army ROTC at the University of Georgia and Deputy Commander of the US 3rd Infantry Regiment, where responsibilities included overseeing large teams and executing strategic planning. Fickel's educational background includes a Master’s in Strategic Studies from the Command and General Staff College and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Frostburg State University, complemented by military training from the US Army Ranger School and Airborne School.
