Monosij Dutta-Roy

Monosij Dutta-Roy has extensive work experience in research and analysis, data science, and AWS deployment. From 2019 to present, they have been working as an AWS Deployment, IaC/DevOps Engineer at Cognosos, Inc., where they are responsible for infrastructure migration to a Terraform IaC implementation for AWS components for an IoT application and developing an IoT architecture for Software Defined Radio (SDR) integrating several types of gateways/ layers. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Research & Analysis, Social Entrepreneurship Data Scientist at Emory University - Goizueta Business School, where they managed and analyzed data of worldwide startup accelerators at Goizueta, Organization & Management and developed Excel based parsers and tokenizers using Python3 to load structured/ unstructured data. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at LexisNexis, Ogilvy & Mather, Browning & Smith, LLC as a Research & Analysis, Data Scientist, where they were responsible for contractual systems, legal research, legal analysis, interpretations, court filings for IP, contract, garnishment based cases, and prototyping work for project proposals to NIH, NSF, and PCORI. From 2012 to 2010, they worked at the Georgia Institute of Technology in various roles, including LexisNexis Risk models on HPCC/ECL, Vendormate Lucene search/retrieval on AWS, Dr. Rani Singh's Metabolic Nutrition Phenylketonuria (PKU) Ontology, Business Computer Associates Dynamic SQL composition on Apache Tuscany, Clinigence Healthcare Analytics Quality of Care Measures, Dr. Mark Braunstein's Analytics Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) Reducing Repeat Visitation, and Dr. Mark Braunstein's CoC CCD UI Design for CONNECT. From 2008 to 2007, they worked as a Research Scientist at the Georgia Tech Research Institute for NIEM, Enterprise Data Governance at SunTrust Bank, Manager, Analytics at Accenture, and Enterprise Data Architect at Centers for Disease Control/Northrop Grumman. Lastly, from 1999 to 2008, they worked as an Oracle/J2EE E-Commerce Architecture at BazaarWorks, LLC, where they were responsible for architecting a low-cost, high availability, generic ecommerce system, multi-context product data management, domain-based meta-data model, and ground-up commerce design.

Monosij Dutta-Roy's education history consists of five educational institutions. Monosij began their education in 1974 at Don Bosco Park Circus, where they earned their Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) in 1984. Monosij then transferred to The College of Wooster in 1986, where they studied Computer Science and Economics before transferring to Southern Polytechnic State University in 1989. At Southern Polytechnic State University, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science and Business Administration in 1991. In 2010, they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they studied Healthcare, Ontologies, Data Mining, and Machine Learning.
