Pallavi Bharadwaj

Pallavi Bharadwaj has a diverse work experience in data science and software engineering. Pallavi is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Cognota since 2023. Previously, they worked at Shopify as a Data Scientist from 2022 to 2023, where they played a key role in developing and shipping the Markets Pro product. At RBC, they worked as a Data Scientist from 2021 to 2022, where they developed a machine learning model and contributed to the development of a python library called Fairness. In 2020, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University and as a Data Scientist Intern at RBC. Pallavi also has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Simon Fraser University. Pallavi started their career as a Software Engineer at Barracuda from 2017 to 2019, where they developed bot traffic analytics and an iOS and Android application. Pallavi also worked as a Software Engineer at Capgemini from 2016 to 2017, where they were trained in ASP.NET and worked on the IKEA project.

Pallavi Bharadwaj completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In 2019, they pursued a Master's degree in Computing Science specializing in Big Data from Simon Fraser University, finishing in 2020.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Pallavi Bharadwaj obtained two certifications. In September 2020, they completed the "Getting Started with AWS Machine Learning" course from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In April 2020, they obtained a certification in "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter Tuning, Regularization and Optimization" from deeplearning.ai.
