Alexandre Matton

Alexandre Matton has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and data science. Alexandre is currently working as an ML Staff Member at Cohere since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Scale AI as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer from August 2021 to October 2022, and as a Machine Learning Research Engineer from August 2020 to August 2021.

Before joining Scale AI, Alexandre worked as a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University from March 2019 to August 2020. During their time there, they served as a TA for courses on Deep Learning for NLP, Numerical Linear Algebra, and Linear Algebra/Partial Differential Equations.

In 2019, Alexandre had an internship as a Machine Learning Engineer at Twilio Inc., where they implemented deep language representation models and analyzed output vectors of these models. Alexandre also published a paper on arXiv during their internship.

Prior to that, Alexandre was a Research Intern at SRI International in 2018, where they worked on behavioral analysis of cryptocurrency owners and developed efficient algorithms for handling large databases. Alexandre also published a paper at ACNS 2019 based on their work.
