David Stewart

David Stewart has a diverse work experience in the field of AI/ML NLP. David started their career as a Data Scientist at PwC in 2017, where they worked as an Associate for two years before being promoted to Senior Associate. In 2021, they moved to Primer.ai as a Data Scientist, working on custom NLP solutions for clients in the commercial and public sector. David then joined Cohere in 2022, initially as a Senior Solutions Architect, and currently holds the position of Principal Solutions Architect AI/ML NLP. In this role, they collaborate with customers to design and align modern LLMs and NLP solutions to solve complex problems and drives the product strategy to meet customer expectations. Throughout their career, David has been involved in scoping, designing, and building production-level NLP models and pipelines. David also had a student role at Virginia Tech and previously completed an internship at PwC in 2016.

David Stewart earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology and Analytics from Virginia Tech, from the year 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, which include "Natural Language Processing with Attention Models" from Coursera in March 2021, "Advanced Machine Learning and Signal Processing" from Coursera in August 2020, "Applied AI with DeepLearning" from Coursera in August 2020, "Fundamentals of Scalable Data Science" from Coursera in August 2020, "Business Analytics: Data Insights" from PwC in August 2019, "Data Tools and Visualization" from PwC in August 2019, "Data and Analytics: Data Insights" from PwC in August 2019, and "Data and Analytics: Data Wrangling" from PwC in August 2019.
